Findes receives logs and backups from your servers over a REST API, keeps them under the retention rules you define, and returns them on request. Data is hosted in the EU and encrypted at rest.
How it works
fluent-bit, Vector, rsyslog or the findes-agent utility — anything that speaks HTTP.
# stream a log batch
curl -sS -H "Authorization: Bearer $FINDES_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/x-ndjson" \
--data-binary @events.ndjson \
https://findes.download/api/v1/logs
Streaming, resumable uploads; interrupted transfers continue where they stopped.
# upload a backup archive
curl -sS -H "Authorization: Bearer $FINDES_TOKEN" \
-T backup-2026-10-19.tar \
"https://findes.download/api/v1/backups?project=prod-db"
Whole archive or byte ranges, with manifest verification.
# download an archive
curl -sSL -H "Authorization: Bearer $FINDES_TOKEN" \
-o restore.tar https://findes.download/api/v1/archives/ar_1a2b3c4d5e
Capabilities

An uploaded archive cannot be modified — only replaced by a new version.
From 24 hours to 7 years, configured per project.
Upload, download, manifests and status — all through the API.
Full or byte-range downloads.
SHA-256 for every archive, verifiable after restore.
