By creating an account, issuing an API token, or sending requests to the Findes API, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Findes provides storage for log data and backup archives, together with APIs and tooling for ingestion, retention management and restore. We aim for uninterrupted availability but do not guarantee it unconditionally.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and API tokens, and for all activity performed with them. Report suspected compromise immediately to support@findes.download.
You retain all rights to your data. We process it solely to operate the service. Export and deletion are available at any time via the API or console; deletion is permanent after the grace window stated in the console.
Retention is configured per project. When an archive reaches the end of its retention period it is irrecoverably deleted within 24 hours. Legal hold suspends automatic deletion.
If a paid quota has been agreed for your account, it is billed monthly by invoice. Unused portions of a billing period are not refunded, except where required by law.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Data is deleted 7 days after account closure.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms; material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
